For years driver Kurt Busch has been a big name in Nascar. He has won dozens of races and is the 2004 Nascar Sprint Cup Series champion. However; his reputation is not a good one, and his future is uncertain. Last September at Dover International Speedway Kurt Busch was accused of assaulting  ex-girlfriend Patricia Driscoll. He has been suspended indefinitely for this action. However, proof was not sufficient enough for a court to press charges, so Busch will not be charged for criminal conduct. However, both his appeals to lift the suspension were denied. He now has begun Nascar’s reinstatement process, but that is not a guarantee to return to Nascar. Nor is he guaranteed a ride should he be reinstated. And it doesn’t help that this is not his first time being in trouble with Nascar. Basically stated, his fate is in Nascar’s hands.
